How to order
Orders can be placed online using our shopping cart facility, or offline by printing our order form and mailing or faxing it to us. If you are a bookseller or a library see our libraries and trade sales page. You are welcome to contact us to check the progress of your order at any time.
The list of titles added to your shopping cart can be amended once you’ve finished browsing and are ready to place your order. You’ll have the option of registering your details so you can access your account on future visits, or placing your order as a guest, in which case your details won’t be held beyond this transaction.
Secure payment options: we accept VISA or Mastercard credit cards, most UK debit cards or you can opt to pay via PayPal.
You will be charged only for books that we have available to despatch to you. Orders for titles that are currently out of print will be recorded and we will contact you once they come back into print.
Download and complete our order form and scan/email, post or fax it to our offices in Oxford. Cheques drawn on a UK bank made payable to British Archaeological Reports Ltd are also accepted for orders sent by post.

EU Orders after BrexitNew import taxes and administration fees apply to direct orders after 1st January 2021.
The UK does not charge VAT/ GST sales tax on books and prior to Brexit EU customers were able to benefit from this by buying directly from our website.
However, since the UK left the EU, any EU customers buying are not able to benefit from purchasing books tax free. Import tax, at your local VAT/GST rate, is now payable when the books are imported.
The tax is payable when the book is imported and will be charged by the shipping company prior to making the delivery. The shipping company may also make an administrative charge that we anticipate will be in the region of €5-€20. If you receive a different administration charge please let us know so that we can update this advice.
If this is paid promptly it does not normally slow down the delivery of your book.
If the purchase is made by a business or institution then you will be able to reclaim the GST/ VAT as you would for local purchases.
These charges must be paid by the customer and we cannot reimburse you unless this has been agreed in writing before the purchase was made.
Returning unwanted or damaged books
Please note that BAR Publishing has a non-return policy which may be waived in exceptional cases.
Damaged or faulty items may be returned for a replacement copy (when available) or for a refund. Postage charges incurred by returning a damaged book will be refunded.
