This volume is the result of a conference held in St. John’s, Newfoundland in October 2004 to mark the retirement of Jim Tuck. The wide geographical and topical scope of the papers reflects the honorand’s diverse contributions to the archaeology of eastern North America, from the Arctic to the Great Lakes, from the Archaic to European colonization.
